Trust hosts Supporters Direct - 23/01/07

BUFCST are delighted to announce that the next meeting of the nationally recognised Supporters Direct will be hosted by BUFCST, most likely at a venue in Sleaford. This is a further indication that the Trust is establishing itself as a professional organisation. With existing links to the various football authorities now established, it is confirmation that BUFCST is progressing towards national recognition as a supporters trust.

The Trust's main aim of course, is to increase the current membership to a level, comparable to supporter's trusts of a similar size. BUFCST is intensifying its "SAVE THE PILGRIMS" campaign, with forthcoming fund raising events and schemes and renewed pleas for donations and sponsorship, to the many local and national businesses, in the Boston Area.

The trust is heartened to see that Grimsby Town Supporters Trust have raised the princely sum of £20,000 over a particularly short time, our congratulations go out to them. The date, time and exact venue of the Supporters Direct meeting, will be announced very soon
