BUFCST STATEMENT - 30 APRIL 2006

Boston United FC Supporters Trust has released the following statement concerning recent allegations which have been made by Mr Jon Sotnick, Chairman of Boston United Football Club in respect of a local company withdrawing sponsorship of BUFC.

"The Boston United Football Club Supporters Trust deny any liability whatsoever in respect of the suggested withdrawal of possible sponsorship of BUFC, by a local company, as only Boston United Football Club, and the particular company concerned, have details of any existing sponsorship agreements, and the payments already made or still anticipated by Boston United Football Club."

Mr Ron Coley, Chairman of the Boston United Football Club Supporters Trust, reconfirmed that: "BUFCST look forward to working together with the Board of Boston United Football Club Limited, the committee of the Boston United Supporters Association, as well as the local community, to try and ensure the future financial stability of Boston United Football Club Limited, over the coming months to allow Boston United Football Club Limited to maintain their position in the Football League for the 2006 / 07 season.

"Equally, the Boston United Football Club Supporters Trust long term aims are that eventually the club can be owned by the fans, for the fans. Any proposed changes regarding where the club plays must be formulated on the basis that the move must leave the club debt free, and playing in the Football League."
