BUFCST are pleased to announce that a Supporters Trust Open Meeting is to be held in the Sports Bar at York St on Tuesday 10th June at 7 30 pm. There will be two items on the agenda as follows:-
1) That Boston United Supporters Trust accepts the offer put to them by the Chairman of BUFC to attempt to raise the sum of £50.000 in two payments of £25,000 the first being in October, the second in April of 2009. In return the BUFCST will receive a stake in the football club.
2) Question and answers to the Trust board and to Mr. David Newton (Chairman BUFC) and Mr. Neil Kempster (Vice Chairman BUFC)
This meeting is open to all supporters of Boston United not just Trust members However only members can vote on item (1) on the agenda.
David Newton and Neil Kempster will bring everyone up to date regarding the state of the club which hopefully will give everybody the peace of mind they are looking for. All in attendance will be able to ask questions and we hope this opportunity will ensure a large turn out.
The Trust Board implores all fans to attend whether members of the Trust or not, this is your chance to get the answers to all the questions you pose on websites or discuss in the pub and at work.
Letters confirming this meeting and including voting slips will be posted out to members this week.
